Saturday June 21st Special Combined WCBA/Mass Bee Monthly Meeting

Mass Beekeepers 3rd Annual Field Day

The WCBA will join the Massachusetts Beekeepers Association at the Third Annual Field Day.  The program will include 2 series of workshops;  one for the beginner and one for the experienced beekeeper.  The focus will be on practical management using live colonies.  Dr. Callahan from our own association will be doing one on queen rearing and Ken Warchol will be doing one on looking for abnormalities in the beehive.  There will be over a dozen different presentations that will last from 45-90 minutes.  The Worcester County Beekeepers will hold their monthly meeting at noontime.

the WCBA will be offering bus transportation to the meeting.  The cost is $10 per person to ride the bus and we need 25 people to book the bus.  The registration deadline for the bus is May 23rd.  Please email Mary Duane at mduane@massed.net to reserve your spot.  With the cost of gas rising- this is not only a great way to save gas/money but to discuss bees
